bitsy ditsy tunic
In 2012, one year after Schuyler started Seaplane from his mom’s attic, he made a few Bitsy Ditsy, maybe 30 pieces in total. A few friends got one, it was a hit at shows, and vanished instantaneously.
Those with little better to do than read our stories will know that just recently, in Los Angeles, we asked a supplier to move a large, dusty hopper behind which we found many wonderful things.
A 250-yard roll of Bitsy Ditsy was one such discovery. A lightly translucent lawn with a beautiful, small-scale floral ditsy, it’s is a piece absolutely anyone can wear.
We loved the tiny morsel we found in 2012. We’re delighted to find another roll, an absolute drop in the ocean of same-old shirts.
B.D. looks great with khakis, jeans, white trousers, chocolate cords. Whatever you got, it brings freshness folks will compliment all day.
Runs a bit generous in length and width; size down for sexy.
Just eighty pieces total in longsleeve, shortsleeve and tunic.
The grandkids will say, ‘Look, Papa had taste — and imagination.’
